I hear a lot of people say “Religion has killed so many people.” Well… so has science. Isn’t science kind of “harming” animals as we speak; “In the name of science”?
One big point to think about is the Food Pyramid (backed by science) that probably killed a lot of Americans. Now, we know the politicians took kick backs that ruined the whole thing, and that corruption is to blame more than science… What I would point out is there was corruption in the church(s) at times as well. Jesus had it out with corrupt officials throughout the gospels. Religion isn’t evil anymore than science. Evil is evil, and labeling religion evil because of past corrupt officials means you have to do the same with science.
